Regional Hill Walk in Killarney

Hike Details
We all met in the Car park of Douglas Court Shopping Centre on Sunday 12th November at 8.45am in the morning!  3 buses arrived on time to bring us to Galways Bridge via Kenmare, though one bus was a bit later leaving as its leader slept out !
The route started at Galways Bridge and continued along the Kerry Way on the old Kenmare Road.  The weather was generally very good all the way with only one short bit of drizzle. We stopped at Coores Cascade (Waterfall) for lunch and many macoimh discovered that by jumping into a stream your feet get wet !   We continued along the route between Torc and Mangerton Mountains and down into Torc taking the steps down past the waterfall to the Car Park.
Again on the way back 2 buses left on time and one was a small bit later leaving as the last of us got the bus home.  Mant macaoimh and leaders fell asleep on the way back !
