Cubs (or Macaoimh in Irish)
are young people aged between 8 and 11 years. The cubs programme is
more active than Beavers to reflect that the young person is growing
up. There are 10 Macaoimh sections in our region and they are by far
the largest section. Because Macaoimh are so popular many Units have
more than one section to cope with the numbers. If you are intersted
in joining please look at the section below for more information.

Where can I Join ?
If you are interested in
joining the Macoimh in the Cork South East Region, you can register with
the Unit nearest to you. Click on the link below for a list of places that
you can join.
All
National Events are organised by the National Cub / Macaoimh Team.
They
can be contacted every Tuesday evening from 7.30pm until 9pm on 01 -
495 6300. Letters should be sent to National Headquarters and
addressed to the team.

Results 2002
The results
of the Macaoimh Cup competition for 2002. The results were
annouced as a special cermony in Kilcully on Wednesday evening 8th
May followed by a Regional Macaoimh Campfire.
For
the past 2 years wew have been running the Regional Award.
Last year saw teh indtroducation of the special badge as show above
and the chnaging of the award to outdoor based activities only

macaoimh in the Regional can achieve the REGIONAL
OUTDOOR AWARD. Here's what you must do:
